WalletHub’s list of the best places to get married
Staff reports Updated 10:11 am, Wednesday, January 31, 2018
WalletHub has a new list of the best places to get married. The report analyzed more then 180 U.S. cities and focused on cost and convenience to determine the ranking. Some of the indicators they used were wedding costs, number of venues and hotel availability.
Topping off the list was Orlando, FL, which while not exactly the most affordable place to get married, received a high score for “Activities & Attractions” and “Facilities & Services.” The top three also included Las Vegas, NV and Atlanta, GA.
The report also indicates that if you’re planning to tie the knot, stay away from Bridgeport, CT, Warwick, RI and South Burlington, VT. These locations will not only balloon your average wedding cost, but you may have to start planning far in advance to find a venue.
