Sangria Recipes

Every year we make 5 fresh sangrias for our Sangria Festival. Here are the recipes for the sangrias that were made in 2016. Happy Summer!

Watermelon-Basil Sangria
2 bottles or 1.5 quarts dry white wine
2 ½ cups watermelon juice
½ cup basil-infused simple syrup
½ cup watermelon vodka
Stir, refrigerate, serve over ice.
Garnish with fresh basil leaf

Multi-Berry Sangria
2 bottles or 1.5 quarts dry white wine
1 ½ cups frozen raspberries, thawed
¼ cup raspberry dessert wine
Stir, refrigerate, serve over ice.

Jalapeno Merlot
1 gallon bottle merlot
¼ cup sliced jalapenos
1 container frozen orange juice
¼ cup rum
Stir, refrigerate, serve over ice.

Strawberry Lemonade Blush Sangria
1.5 quarts blush wine
1 ½ cups frozen strawberries, with juice
1 container frozen lemonade
½ container water
Stir, refrigerate, serve over ice.

Classic Red Wine Sangria
2 bottles or 1.5 quarts Hudson River Valley Red
1 cup apple pieces
1 cup orange pieces
¼ cup sugar or Cointreau
Stir, refrigerate, serve over ice.
